#66: How to Pitch and Sell Scripts with Jonny Umansky and Zach Hyatt
In this episode, I'm here with Legends of the Hidden Temple writers Jonny Umansky and Zach Hyatt. You will hear them share about their secrets to success and offer advice about pitching and selling scripts to major TV and film networks.
Jonny and Zach, who have been friends since middle school, share touching reflections on how their friendship evolved from an occasional collaboration to a writing partnership. They began writing and submitting their work to online screen writing festivals and shortly after sold their script The Young Turks, to NBC.
This dynamic duo has collaborated with some of Hollywood hottest such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Recently a movie script was submitted for Legends of the Hidden Temple (a 90's game show) and was turned into a TV movie, premiering just a few weeks ago on Nickelodeon.
